An African woman wearing an African head tie called Gele (pronounced GAY-LAY), which is worn mostly by the Yorubas and other tribes and represents the status amount the women and wear at parties and other social events. The fabric used is mostly Aso-Oke but sometimes Ankara, the Velvet Turban, the sego fabric.
